Elliott, Morgan earn area's best
Hendersonville, N.C. - TC Roberson's Josh Morgan made the race for the 2006 Times-News Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year look a lot like the other races he enters -- not even close.

A two-time T-N Cross County Runner of the Year, Morgan now caps one of the best area running legacies in a long time with his first Track and Field Athlete of the Year Award.

Hendersonville T-N prep sports reporter, Jeremy Trantham has the full story on Morgan's stellar season.

Elisabeth Elliott just finished her sophomore year at Polk County High School, but she can already point to a running career that includes five state championships.
