SOUTH REGION Nov 27, 2004 at McAlpine Park, Charlotte NC - on-site coverage by Ricky Quintana |
|
Two of South's all time best prove their
mettle with two sensational performances Andy Bumbalough 14:32 takes 11 seconds off Alan Webb's course record; Jenny Barringer wins second straight South regional Charlotte- Two of the south's all time best proved their mettle with two sensational performances under near perfect conditions Saturday morning at McAlpine Park. And if one doubts how talented these two are, one only had to look to the sidelines to see Colorado head cross country coach, Mark Wetmore, five days removed from his men's and women's double NCAA team titles, in attendance. A biting cold and soggy conditions greeted the runners as they arrived at McAlpine Park early in the morning. |
